The 2009 JustStories Fellowship :
Gene Tagaban

hh

The JustStories Fellowship supports a storyteller devoted to racial justice and who creates an original story ready for performance about race and identity.

We congratulate Gene Tagaban for his new story I am Indopino about identity and self-discovery.  Gene performed this new story at the 7th year of the JustStories Concerts in April 2009 at Dominican University in the Chicago suburb of River Forest, IL

Storyteller and Educator Susan O'Halloran was creative coach for the Fellowship. Sue was also host and co-producer with Angels Studio/Chicago for the JustStories Concerts.

The JustStories Storytelling initiative is presented by Angels Studio/Chicago and O'Halloran Communications. This venture seeks to challenge and support storytellers to create and perform stories that deal with race, diversity and inclusion.
